Cycads

The prehistoric cycads are among the oldest living plants on Earth, they have been around for over 300 million years.  

These unique and valuable species have survived through multiple mass extinctions and have played a significant role in the evolution of our planet's ecosystems. However, due to habitat loss, climate change, and illegal harvesting, many species of cycads are now endangered. We must take action to protect these ancient plants by preserving their habitats, enforcing laws against illegal harvesting, and raising awareness about their importance to our planet's biodiversity.
